British Wildlife Workshop

• 18th September 2020: FULLY BOOKED

• Full Day Price: £175

• Group Size: 8

• Location: Surrey

Based in Surrey, Tom runs a one day workshop where you will be able to capture images of an array of British mammals and owls. In this captive environment, this day gives the opportunity to really get to grips with your camera. Tom will be on hand to ensure that you have plenty of time to learn the best settings for wildlife photography situations, talk about composition, shutter speeds, apertures and ISO whilst you are able to have access inside the animals enclosures for the most aesthetic backdrops and natural environments. The animals you can expect to photograph on this day range from Foxes to Red Squirrels, and from Barn Owls to Otters.

If you have any questions or would like to reserve your place, please do not hesitate to contact me either via email or by phone

Equipment & clothing

This workshop is designed so that no matter what equipment you have, you will be able to position yourself to take some beautiful images on the day. You are able to stand as close or as far away as you wish to take your images. Typically a 300mm lens or longer would be ideal for taking great portrait images. You will be taking many images so you will need plenty of space on your memory cards. Depending on your equipment and how heavy it might be, a tripod is advisable but not essential. There is very little walking involved but you will be outside for the majority of the day so suitable footwear is needed as is warm and waterproof clothing.
