 •   2-1: £175 per person

 •   Maximum 2 participants

 •   Location: Buckinghamshire

 •   Tutor: Tom Way

This workshop is a chance for you to join Tom for the day and learn all the basics about how to use your digital camera to take wildlife images. The course is designed for people who are new to photography and would like to learn their way round their camera. The morning will start with setting up by a lake in Buckinghamshire to photograph the local wildfowl. By choosing a subject which is plentiful on the lake, this will give you a chance to really practice and improve with your camera whilst having plenty of time to discuss and think about your settings and composition. Tom will be constantly on hand to give you advice and to answer as many questions as you may have. On finishing the shoot you will sit down somewhere more comfortable for Tom to view your work on a laptop and talk about how to upload and process your images in Adobe Lightroom.

To book your place please contact Tom either by email or by phone. If there is not a date here to suit you, Tom can be flexible and find a day to suit your schedule. Larger group sizes can also be arranged.

During the critique and processing session, Tom will look over your images from the day and give you lots of feedback about what worked well and where to improve. You will then look at the best ways to process an image, from small crops to lightning or darkening the image. Talking also about slight white balance changes or adding some contrast to your images.
